Refractive Surgery

Refractive Eye Surgery is any eye surgery used to improve the refractive state of the eye and decrease the need for glasses. The most common methods today use lasers to reshape the cornea. Examples for laser procedures are LASIK, PRK, LASEK or Epi-LASIK or SMILE. Lens procedures include the implantation of phakic lenses or the exchange of the clear lens.
