Current Status of Lamellar Keratoplasty

The status and current challenges of endothelial keratoplasty to date
will be presented. The talk will focus on new advances to improve
visual and surgical results i.e. Ultrathin Descemet stripping automated
endothelial keratoplasty (DSAEK), Descemet membrane endothelial
keratoplasty (DMEK) and DMEK with stromal support. The
various
methods of donor preparation, including storage for DMEK
surgery will be presented. Clinical slides and videos will illustrate
the various techniques and outcomes.
