Membership in DGII and/or DGII & ESCRS

The DGII was founded in Gießen in 1987. Since then, membership has continued to grow to almost 800 members.
At €135 (€ 120 per direct debit) per year, the DGII has the lowest membership dues of any European professional association. For an additional €100 it is possible to be a member of both, DGII and ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons). Individual membership in ESCRS is normally €150 per year. Membership in the American Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) is $295.

Membership in DGII includes:
- free delivery of the annual DGII congress volume
- reduced symposium, seminar and wet-lab fees
= Annual dues of € 135 (€ 120 per direct debit)

Membership in DGII and ESCRS includes additionally:
- free delivery of Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery
- free delivery of the magazine Eurotimes
- all internet postings on the website www.escrs.org
= Annual dues of € 195,- € / per direct debit 180,- €

I am a DGII member and want to join the ESCRS. With this combined membership I will additionally receive the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery as well as EUROTIMES. The membership dues for DGII + ESCRS are currently 195,- EUR / per direct debit 180,- EUR. I am a DGII member and want to cancel my ESCRS membership. Upon cancellation the delivery of the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery will end. I will continue to receive, among others, the symposium booklet of DGII. The DGII membership due is currently 135,- EUR / per direct debit 120,- EUR.
